HOW TO LOGIN TO MT4 PLATFORM TO WATCH THE LIVE TRADES

HAVE YOU BEEN TRADING ON MT4 PLATFORM BEFORE?

If you have already downloaded MT4 platform of any broker before, just login again using the following credentials (from main menu choose “File”, then “Login”):

The Password provided above is so called “Investor” password. You can watch the LIVE trades, check past trading results, print reports, etc. but you cannot execute the trades. For this a “Trader Password” is required.

NEW TO FOREX? NO MT4 PLATFORM EXPERIENCE?

If you are a beginner or haven’t used Metatrader 4 platform yet, please follow these easy step-by-step instructions.

• OPEN METAQUOTES’ WEBSITE TO DOWNLOAD METATRADER 4

(Metaquotes is the company that created the MT4 trading software).

Click the following link to install the Metatrader 4 platform:

www.metaquotes.net/download/

Choose MetaTrader 4 Client Terminal at the very top of the Downloads.

Click Download Metatrader link.

• DOWNLOAD MT4 PLATFORM

Click “Run”.

Click “Run”.

Choose the language, best English (or another one that suits you).

Click “Next”.

Click “Next”.

“Check” (“V”), Yes, I agree with all the terms of this license agreement.

Click “Next”.

Click “Next”.

Click “Next”.

Click “Next”.

Click “Finish”.

Fill in ALL the fields with required information like your name, address, phone, etc.

Choose the highest leverage available, possibly 1:500. If not available, 1:100 is OK.

Currency USD is best, but any other will do. Any deposit is fine, too, e.g. $1,000.

“Check” (“V”) I agree to subscribe to your newsletter.

Then click “Next”.

Click “Next”.

You can make a Note of the LOGIN and PASSWORD if you want to trade on this account later, since you cannot recover them at a later point, but this is not necessary.

However, these are not the LOGIN and PASSWORD to login to the FX iROBOT account. You will get this information at the next steps.

Then click “Finish”.

• NOW YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE MT4 PLATFORM

Close all unnecessary windows (Market Watch with Currency Symbols and Prices, Navigator with Accounts, Indicators, etc. Also delete the two lower graphs USDCHF and USDJPY clicking on the X-marks at the right tops of the graphs.

Leave only GBPUSD and EURUSD windows so you can watch the trades.

Click M1 button to get smaller time-frames and to enlarge or minimize the graphs. Also click somewhere on the GBPUSD graph first and then on the symbol to get the “candle” charts. From the main menu choose “Window”, and then “Tile Vertically”.

You should get something like this:

Now you can login to the my account and watch the real-time trades:

Just login to my account using the following credentials (from the main menu choose “File”, at the very left top, then “Login” from the drop-down menu):

Try to learn some easy functions of the Metatrader 4, how to login, logout, change graphs, insert indicators, go from Trade to Account History tabs, etc. It might be difficult in the beginning, but later you will get used to it.

Don’t forget to watch the REAL-TIME trades! They happen so fast that you might even not be able to spot them at first! Good luck!
